“Art goes beyond the limits in which time would like to compress it, and indicates the content of the future”. (Vasilij Kandinskij)
Italy with its many art cities has an exceptional artistic heritage. Inestimable masterpieces, historical places and alleys seem to guard jealously moments of a glorious past. A remarkable artistic and historical heritage which, on one hand is definitely a reason for pride, on the other can also be a heavy burden in the promotion and development of new trends and artistic expressions.
So, what really entails the confrontation with our historical past for a contemporary artist?
In a singular synergy between contemporary art and history, Galleria360 have selected artists from around the world in order to offer new opportunities for reflection and stimulating comparison. So, “The Tomorrow of Art” is an exhibition that promotes the plurilinguism of current art, showing the importance of adopting a free and diachronic look about art, in a dynamic perspective but respectful of the historical events. In fact, through the eclecticism and talent of international artists, the exhibition weaves a stimulating dialogue between past and present, attempting a bold synthesis of opposites: classicism and contemporaneity.
The inauguration of “The Tomorrow of Art” exhibition will take place on 8th Friday of November 2019, at 19.00, in Via il Prato 11r, Florence. During the opening will also be offered a welcome drink while Jazz musicians will play live animating the evening and creating a pleasant union between Art and Music.
